Cerberus & Word #10

5 points for Hope - mythic monster is correct. He was the three-headed dog guarding the gate to Hades in Greek mythology (remember the "treasure hunt" at your apartment before your cruise?). Also, good call, Hope. It should have been capitalized - a typo on my part - so your analysis was also good. Yay Hope (as we would say to Alison here with us!).

Word Play #10: charette

I just learned this one the other day.

Does charette mean a big ordeal or celebration?

After the charette for the soldiers' homecoming, we all celebrated with champagne.

    *total guess!*

I'm going with a synonym to charade.

The blindfold was merely a charette in order to keep him guessing.

    *also total guess*

Hope, I think your are right. I keep thinking she is doing the "teacherly" thing and trying to trick us. That just seemed to easy! I do have to give it to you though, that Cerebus was a total win!
